In 1999 Álvaro Domecq bought the old bodegas of the great almacenista Pilar Aranda and began to sell the products under the Brand name of “Álvaro Domecq SL”.
Almacenistas sold their produce to other bodegas, but Álvaro Domecq wanted a complete “rebirth”, so from the start a strategy was designed to sell top quality products on the open market.

Nose: Delicate aroma of noble woods.
Palate: Deeply flavoursome, pleasant and with a long finish.
Serving suggestions:
This is the perfect post prandial Brandy and is ideal in a balloon glass, slowly sipped with friends. It is also delightful with some ice and has a profound influence in cocktails.

Tasting Notes:
Appearance: Dark chestnut colour, with mahogany highlights. Clean and bright.
Nose: Great aromatic intensity with a predominance of wood and vanilla notes. Further aeration of the glass reveals aromas of grapes and prunes.
Palate: Warm and intense, with notes of wood, vanilla and sultanas with great persistence on the palate.
