In the Sherry production zone, the term “bodega” applies not only to the buildings where brandy is produced and aged but also to the companies dedicated to this activity. In the following section, information can be found on several of the bodega members of the Brandy de Jerez Council known in Spanish as The Consejo Regulador Especifica de Brandy de Jerez. Currently, they sell their brandies both nationally and internationally and many of these companies are on their own, sufficiently representative of the history and quality of Brandy de Jerez.
