The bodega group José Estévez SA is an independent family company. With a long tradition of the production of fine Sherries and Brandy de Jerez, the group owns the prestigious bodegas of Marqués del Real Tesoro and Valdespino, which is without doubt one of the oldest in the area with its origins dating back to 1430.
This Brandy is made from a rigorous selection of wines distilled in pot stills for the finest most aromatic holandas. It is aged for over 20 years in American oak butts which had previously housed our famous Amontillados in the criaderas and soleras system.
Appearance: Intense amber with bright hints of green
Aroma: Extremely old and noble with great complexity, crisp and pronounced hazelnut notes from the hundred year old soleras whose butts still retain traces of flor.
Palate: Dry, delicate, harmonious and with terrific length
Storage: Keeping this brandy presents no problems, all its fine properties are conserved in bottle, but it is best to avoid its exposure to sunlight or sources of heat.
Serve at ambient temperature in a proper brandy glass. It is best enjoyed slowly after a meal with the coffee.
