Consejo Regulador de las Denominaciones de Origen "Jerez-Xérès-Sherry" - "Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda" - "Vinagre de Jerez" |
The bodega is situated in the very heart of Sanlúcar de Barrameda in a beautiful building typical of the XIX century Mudéjar style built on the instructions of the Duque de Montpensier. At the beginning of the XX century it was transformed into the current bodega which houses our most carefully aged and select soleras.
Orleans Borbón Brandy Solera Gran Reserva is the result of ageing a selection of holandas and wine distillates aged in American oak butts drawn from our oldest and finest soleras.
Appearance: Brilliant
Colour: Chestnut
Aroma: Forthcoming and smooth with notes of fruit and oak
Flavour: Great presence on the palate, warm, dry and velvety with notes of fruit, vanilla and oak
Strength: 40ᴼ
The glass known as the balloon made from fine transparent glass with enough distance between the bowl and the foot is the ideal glass in which to enjoy this Brandy, although a wine tasting glass is also suitable.
It is important never to warm the Brandy, but swirling it gently around the glass for 4 or 5 minutes will release its aromas. It is a similar procedure to that of a fine old wine, slowly allowing it to breathe.
The Brandy is at its most glorious after a meal, or simply whenever one feels like a good brandy.
